The location is convenient and the price is good, especially for walkers or those just passing through, and the small cabin I stayed in was perfect for a solo traveller.

Very good.

Not as advertised, and the place looked very tired and worn.

The staff were friendly and helped with bookings promptly; it couldn’t have been better!

The location was perfect for our stopover while travelling from the Bay of Islands back home to Palmerston, the hosts were exceptionally accommodating with our request for late check‑in and stayed up for us, and the breakfast was very nice with plenty of options, though we wished we could have stayed longer to enjoy the hospitality and explore the area.
