“Poorly maintained hotel and poor value for money.”
The staff were pleasant, rooms clean, breakfast satisfactory, and the view over the Black Sea was good. The other guests seemed to be enjoying themselves, but we did not enjoy our stay. We left after one night even though we had paid for two, something we’ve never done before. The hotel looked cheaply built and poorly maintained. We chose it partly for the pool and gym, but the pool area was uninviting and much of the gym equipment was broken. The walls are very thin and the corridors echo with doors banging, waking us several times at night. Wi‑Fi in our room was unreliable; I could only get a stable connection in the bathroom. There was a complete lack of attention to detail: the sheet was too small for the bed, poor quality with a hole, the carpets were frayed, and a light fixture in one room had come loose from the ceiling. The hotel offered very poor value for the price compared to other places we stayed in Turkey. The location isn’t great—too far to walk to town and hard to park if you drive.
