Exceptional guest house! So unique, attention to detail is top notch. Errol and Venita are wonderful hosts and Ruby is the cherry on top. The staff are warm, friendly and have the place running like a well oiled machine. The garden is absolutely stunning and the bar / dining area has so much character. We stayed in the family room which was perfect for our family of 4. The studio and deluxe suite are divine, we had a look at them whilst there. All in all, a must stay in Outdshoorn

“What a beautiful and welcoming guesthouse! Highly recommended.”

After many long hours on the road, Errol and Venetia welcomed us with the warmest hospitality. La Pension is a beautifully restored guesthouse, and the love, care, and hard work are evident in every detail. The garden is absolutely gorgeous, and it’s clear how much Errol and Venetia love what they do; their genuine passion for hospitality shines through in how they make guests feel at home. The staff were equally friendly and welcoming, and we also enjoyed spending time with all their adorable pets. The bathroom was spacious, the bed super comfortable, and we slept wonderfully. Breakfast was beautiful too. After such a long journey, La Pension was the perfect place to unwind, relax, and recharge. Thank you, Errol and Venetia, for making us feel so at home; we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and sincerely hope to return one day.

A cozy and pretty place, and the breakfast featuring a single ostrich egg was the highlight. These folks are clearly made for running a guesthouse. Lots of greetings!

Errol was a very nice and helpful host. La pension is a little paradise. Great garden with a nice pool. Breakfast was great and more than enough. Can recommend to stay there and we would certainly stay there when visiting Oudtshoorn again
