Excellent location for exploring Rutland. Superb breakfast. Good value for money. The menu was limited during our Tuesday night stay – only burgers were offered for burger night.

Very friendly staff. The room was comfortable and breakfast was excellent. It’s a bit further out from Oakham than I expected, but not really a problem.

The staff were genuinely friendly and the food was solid. The mattress was very soft and looked worn, which is a problem for us since we like a firmer bed. During a very busy Pizza Night at the pub, there seemed to be too few staff, so we had to wait a long time for our food. Other than that, everything was great.
