“Not worth the nightly fee.”

The location is convenient. I stay in hotels every weekend across Alberta, and this was one of the most disappointing stays I’ve had. There are no microwaves in the rooms, something I’ve never seen before. We had several noise complaints – one for my kids just being kids and another for me on the phone – with two complaints before quiet time and one at 11:15 pm. I was so frustrated by the phone call that I even said, “I pay just as much as the next person to stay here, I should be able to talk on the phone.” Whether it’s paper‑thin walls or guests who think they’re the only ones in the hotel, I’m not sure, but you would expect the staff to stop entertaining the complaints once they realized we were simply existing. The breakfast coupons or the fact that we didn’t leave with food is ridiculous, especially when it’s advertised that “breakfast is included in stay.” I’ve only experienced this one other time.

The location is good with a car. The mattresses were too soft; they were like bananas.

“It's an older hotel and it shows but it's not to say it's dirty just a older hotel and that's all.”

I liked that breakfast was free.

The staff were helpful and kind, but the washrooms were tiny, our sink clogged, and it took forever for the water to heat up. The room itself was a decent size, and breakfast was good.
