The place is close to the port. The electricity and fan only work from 19:00 to 24:00, so it gets extremely hot after midnight and it’s hard to sleep. The toilet flush and sink were non‑functional, and there’s no spot to hang out and relax except your own bed.

René and Augusto are simply the best! I traveled alone for a few days to experience the Bijagós and they made my stay more comfortable. They’re amazing! I invite everyone to this fabulous place!

We were really impressed by the host Reni's friendliness, and the breakfast was great. Reni assisted us from arrival to departure, helping with transport and whatever else we needed.

The location was excellent, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was nice. The room we stayed in was clean but quite run down; the sink in the bathroom was not attached to the wall and leaked constantly, so the bathroom was always flooded.
