The location is incredible, the room views are stunning, the cabin meets all expectations, check‑in and check‑out were super easy, and despite a chilly evening, you didn’t feel cold inside the cabin.

It was very comfortable, fully equipped so we didn’t have to leave, the beds were super cozy, and everything was spotless.

The cabin was well furnished for a relaxing stay, and there was a place to park the car, though it wasn’t covered. The main issue was the lack of signal – the town had almost none and GPS led us astray, leaving us lost for a while. Without signal we couldn’t contact the owner, and while the cabin has Wi‑Fi, that could be a problem for arriving guests.

The view was fantastic, the cabin was well equipped, and we loved the family of hazel owls that make their nest on the property. San Andrés de la Sierra has fewer services and infrastructure than other nearby villages, but it’s worth it for the peace and scenery. The hot water ran out a bit earlier than expected; if we had been four instead of two, it might have lasted longer.
