“Lugar fantástico para lua de mel”
The front‑desk staff were fantastic, making check‑in and check‑out super quick. We received two complimentary water bottles at check‑in, which helped us stay hydrated until the next day when we went to Dom Atacadista and Serra Azul supermarkets, about 25 minutes by car from the property. Inside the chalet, there’s a mini‑fridge, some pots and kitchen utensils, and an electric stove. You can also use the microwave and electric oven near the reception, and there’s a small market with various food items. The onsite snack bar and pizza place, Nosso Sabor, delivers to the chalet and you can contact reception for orders. Because the property is in a remote neighborhood, delivery options are limited. The chalet spans two floors, with the master bedroom on the upper level. On the lower floor, there’s a modular sofa that converts into another double bed and a TV with Smart TV and Starlink internet, which, while not ultra‑fast, is reliable. The shower has a hot‑water system, essential for cold days. The natural pool is wonderful for swimming and great for photos. The whole setting offers spectacular shots, surrounded by a small valley and preserved forest. Privacy and calmness come from the property being off the highway and a private road. The downside is that the private access road has a stretch without cobblestones or stone blocks, so your car needs to handle off‑road challenges, especially when it rains. Also, the property currently has only two parking spots for the two chalets in operation. Normally that’s fine, but we were unlucky because the large house was also rented to a big family at the same time, leading to a five‑car scramble for two spots. Finally, I missed some humidity control inside the chalet, especially on cloudy, cold days. We had wet towels for days because they couldn’t dry naturally inside and there was no daily replacement with dry towels.
