We were told check‑in opens at 14:00 and that the access instructions would arrive beforehand, but by 14:45 we still hadn’t received them and had to follow up. They then said the instructions would be sent when the room was ready. My phone call went unanswered, I left a voicemail but never got a callback. The instructions finally arrived about 15 minutes later. A quick message about the delay would have let us plan our afternoon better.

The room was one of the largest we stayed in during our Scotland trip, and the hotel sits right in the city centre with easy access from the central station and many bus lines. Supermarkets and restaurants are right next door. The room was so spacious that it felt like a shame there wasn’t a seating area with a table facing the TV; that would have been great and there was definitely room for it. The housekeeper we met was very nice! It would be good to have a safe in the room, and the entrance is shared with several businesses.

The location is good, the room was really clean and the beds super comfy. Checking in was smooth and easy, and there are lockers to store luggage after check‑out, which is really helpful.
