“I would prefer to stay somewhere that does not allow pets.”

The breakfast didn’t appeal to me, so I skipped it. The location was fine, but I’d have preferred the opposite side of Fernley for my stay. A train’s noise was annoying. I’m allergic to cats; a cat had been in my room and I woke up each morning with itchy eyes. I wasn’t told at check‑in that I needed to request daily cleaning, which might have helped.

Check‑in was smooth thanks to the friendly staff, and the hotel was comfortable, clean, and well‑situated.

“Room was clean. Customer Service was great, but the bathtub was a fall hazard for anyone rather handicapped or not.”

The rooms were clean and the staff were friendly. On the first floor, the bathtubs posed a fall hazard because they were slanted, almost causing me to fall twice, and water stayed in the middle after draining. The tub mate didn’t help prevent a fall. We stayed in Room 104, a handicap room, and it seemed odd to place a handicapped person in a room with a defective bathtub. After complaining to the manager, we were moved to another handicap room on the third floor with a safe bathtub. It was much safer to get in and out of, but it took filing a complaint for us to receive a proper room with a proper bathtub, and we weren’t informed at check‑in about the bathtub’s condition.

“The amenities fell very short.”

The location was good, the room was clean, and the staff were happy to see you. The pool was closed during Labor Day weekend, and the TV only offered four channels. I would have appreciated a partial refund.

Great location, awesome pool, and clean rooms. The lady at the breakfast buffet was completely out of line and rude about people leaving trays open, throwing a fit.
