A beautiful colonial house in English style, complete with a pool and a lovely park and garden. The breakfast was among the best I’ve ever had, the dinner was excellent, and they arranged a tour of the village that we really appreciated. The rooms were not at all clean, and the room wasn’t insulated from the attic, so we could hear and smell wild animals that had access. If the cleaning improved, it would be a true paradise.

We had an excellent stay. The building is truly beautiful, set in a more than magnificent setting, surrounded by lush nature. Moorthy and the whole team were very attentive to our daughters and us. Don’t hesitate to dine on site in the evenings – we had one of the best rice and curry meals of our trip there. Thank you again for the warm welcome!

Our stay at Strathisla was wonderful and met everything we hoped for. Every staff member was warm, attentive, and helpful throughout. The food at every meal was superb. The village walk led by a staff member was thoroughly enjoyable – a real treat. The views at Strathisla were incredible and the birdlife was extensive and rewarding. Thank you! We will definitely return. The pool was very murky in colour, which was somewhat off‑putting.

The gardens were well kept, the accommodation charming, and we felt welcomed. We loved the tour around the estate. Unfortunately, the pool wasn’t quite inviting despite the staff’s efforts to clear it. We were excited for the pool but it didn’t live up to our expectations.
