“A PAISAGEM NÃO DEVE SER A MAIOR AMBIVALÊNCIA NA HOTELARIA E RESTAURAÇÃO...HÁ TODO UM RESTO.”
The contrast of lake and mountains offered an impressive view of the Rabaḍão at the Pisões Dam from room #101 “primium” when you wake up. The varied and excellent breakfast at “Aqua Restaurante” also served some of the best regional Barrosã meat dishes cooked to perfection. The staff were friendly and professional across many roles. However, the “premium” room is not so sublime, selective, or different to justify the higher daily rate (€115) because of the lack of soundproofing from the air conditioner above. The noise from the coffee machine at 07:00 am and the constant green light in an unusable card‑access system were disturbing. The high price for the time (07 Oct) was still good weather and no access to one of the amenities, the pool was quite dirty with no care or treatment. A clear need for a full repaint of the rooms and access points, due to the scratches seen. The lack of a door or a small balcony in the mornings to have breakfast outside the Aqua Restaurante was also an issue. Everything else is trivial and nature absorbs us to less positive levels. To have a good price‑quality ratio, a general UPGRADE is necessary.
