Getting around was easy and the hotel was central to everything we wanted to see. The staff were friendly, and the place was clean and tidy. However, the room was a bit small for two people to share, there was no tea‑making facility, and there wasn’t much space for suitcases.

The windowsills were very sticky and the floor had dirt, and the air‑con ran all night making the room cold; we couldn’t turn it off.

The location was ideal and the staff were very friendly and helped as much as they could, but the room was very dated and dirty. The last occupants’ empty shampoo bottles were still on the bathroom floor, the bath was grimy even after a dry wipe, the carpets were filthy, and dust was everywhere. Half the sockets didn’t work, and the wall‑mounted TV was useless because you couldn’t see it from the bed due to its angle. The advertised spa baths were also false.
