Paid in March for a one‑night stay in April, but the hotel had closed down in December. Do not pay them any money. The platform was useless; they had to confirm I didn’t cancel, and I must wait for a refund. Not happy!

I got an email about my booking being cancelled, which was a nice touch, I suppose. However, things took a turn when I tried to get a refund - I'd already paid, but no one seemed to be taking care of it. I reached out to Oddfellows and the booking site, but it was a bit of a hassle.

The breakfast here was spot on - plenty of food, and it was all well presented. Plus, free extra coffee was a nice touch. The rooms were quiet, being separate from the main building, and the staff were super friendly. The evening meal was great too, so I'd definitely recommend this place. And the price was decent, especially with breakfast included.

My room was comfy, if a bit sweltering, and the shower was great. The bathroom was a good size too. However, there were only two plug sockets, and they were both next to the bed, which made working a bit of a challenge. And the heated towel rail was really hot - I found the switch next to the bed, but it was a bit awkward.

The place was clean and the staff were friendly, which was great. That's about it, really - no complaints, but nothing that blew me away either.
