I spent two fantastic nights in a suite with my children; everything was perfect: the room, cleanliness, and comfort. A big thank you to Brahim at reception for his warm welcome, kindness, and professionalism, which made our stay even better. I recommend this hotel without hesitation!
“Decent Resort Located Near Nouakchott's Famous Fish Market”
Sabah Resort sits on a reasonably clean beach about a 15‑minute taxi ride from central Nouakchott, and the famous Nouakchott fish market is just a short 10‑minute walk down the coast. The one‑bedroom cabana I stayed in had some wear from previous rentals but was generally clean and had good Wi‑Fi. Plenty of free parking is available and the onsite restaurant serves North African and western food. At the rate I paid, I was very satisfied with Sabah Resort and would recommend it for a short stay. My rating is 7.5/10.
“I may not book a room here for a week long vacation, but it was fine for my visit.”
We liked the location—it was far from the city but close to the main road. The Wi‑Fi wasn’t great, but many people were in the hotel, probably the reason.
“Trop cher pour ce que c'est”
The terrace is pleasant and there is a restaurant on site. The photos match the place but may be slightly outdated. The rooms are not in great condition. The bathroom was not cleaned at all when we received the keys—urine on the toilet bowl and floor—so I had to get angry and call the manager to send someone to clean it. It’s convenient to have a restaurant, but the organization needs improvement: breakfast wasn’t ready at the announced time, the service was mediocre according to the servers, and the broom was sweeping the terrace at the same time as meals.
“posto eccellente in hotel accogliente”
The location is charming next to a fabulous beach. The staff were kind, especially the front‑office manager and the lady preparing breakfast. Overall, everyone was courteous and helpful. I had trouble finding simple dishes that suited my dietary needs, a problem also caused by Ramadan.
