The location is very central; you can walk to every spot in Ayvalık’s center. However, the rooms have zero soundproofing—every tiny noise is audible. During our stay a family with kids stayed on the upper floor, forcing us to wake up at 06.00 with them. If you’re after privacy or silence, this isn’t for you.

The property is a converted old traditional house turned guesthouse. You should know what to expect from this type of lodging—it’s not a hotel. If you enjoy traditional village homes, this is ideal.

The place sits right on Ayvalik’s main street, so everything is close by. The staff were amazing, friendly, and tried to fix everything immediately. The main issue that lowered my rating was the awful smell in the building; it might be the area, but it made it nearly impossible to sleep. I give it 3 stars because the staff were truly excellent.

The location is great. The family is very welcoming and kind, even though the lady doesn’t speak English, but her phone helped us communicate. It’s very clean. The bathroom and toilet area is small.
