“Excellent location and all the basic services for a short stay”
The place sits right next to Kensington Gardens and the Underground is just a two‑minute walk, plus Queensway road offers plenty of cafés and supermarkets; the windows face a quiet street so the room stays peaceful. Basic amenities are solid: the room is spotless, the bed is comfy, linens and towels are fresh and high quality, the shower is new and works well, there’s a safe and a tea station, and Wi‑Fi is fast and reliable. However, the hotel feels very generic with no personality or unique vibe. The room isn’t large but is quiet enough for one or two people on a short stay. I missed a mini‑fridge and the only two power outlets are above the desk, making it hard to charge devices near the bed. Breakfast is a modest continental spread with no hot dishes, just cereals, toast, fruit, vegetables and cold eggs; the breakfast area is tiny, so seating can be scarce.
