Excellent! I recommend this accommodation. The air conditioning, peaceful area, and comfortable bed make it hard to dislike. The hosts were welcoming and the experience was simply the best and very satisfying.

The place was well maintained and the interior felt welcoming; the bed and linens were very comfortable. A bit more privacy would help—perhaps a bamboo screen at the gate.

It’s a cute, private retreat just 15 minutes from the beach and near Whitsable town centre, and we loved how unique and personal it felt. It isn’t suitable for anyone who wants to cook.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The property was absolutely immaculate — exceptionally clean, beautifully decorated and you could really see the time, care and attention that had gone into making the lodge feel so welcoming. The bed was really comfortable, and we loved all the thoughtful little touches, especially the fridge being stocked with yoghurt and milk, along with glass jars of granola and cereal. The large glass bottles of water were also such a lovely and useful touch. The air conditioning was an absolute godsend in the heat and made such a difference to our stay. The location was lovely and peaceful, and we really appreciated having our own private entrance, with a key safe and our own little gate, which made the lodge feel very private and secluded. Everything had clearly been thought through to make guests feel comfortable, and we genuinely couldn’t fault the cleanliness, presentation or attention to detail. Honestly, this is really nitpicking because there was very little we didn’t like about the property! If I had to mention one thing, it would just be that a TV would have been a nice addition. We were having a little girls’ weekend away and, after a busy day out, it would have been lovely to be able to get into bed and put a film on while relaxing. There was a lovely little garden area too, but we didn’t want to make too much noise. That said, this really is a very minor point and certainly didn’t take away from what was otherwise a fantastic stay
