The hotel sits right in the city centre, which made getting around a breeze. The only downside was a lingering smell coming from the restaurant downstairs that drifted into the lobby.

The location on Vitosha boulevard was perfect and the flat was surprisingly quiet thanks to solid sound‑proofing. We were five, so we used two bedrooms, a shared kitchen and bathrooms with two other guests, and our main room was roomy and spotless. The price felt fair, but the lack of air‑conditioning—just a fan—made it pretty warm in the summer.

The place is right where you want to be and the rooms are large with a nice décor touch. The kitchen, however, is very basic and the cleaning staff missed dust under the beds and furniture.

The hostel’s spot is convenient and the shower works well, but the overall cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired—there was a lot of dust in the kitchen area. Staying in a private room next to the kitchen meant some extra noise, and there’s no elevator to speak of.
