The building’s style and the room’s décor were really cool, but the kitchen description in the listing was misleading. Every room actually shares a single communal kitchen that guests keep tidy, and it only has one stove. The pots, glasses, kitchen cloths, and towels are all worn, grey, and shabby. The coffee maker’s handle is broken and just sits there, giving the impression that the host thinks “this is fine” for guests. There’s no hand soap, no dish soap, and no scrubbing pad in the kitchen, so stubborn food residue is hard to clean. We were promised a personal fridge for our room, but there was only a shelf in a tiny shared fridge that barely fit anything. We had to request clean kitchen cloths and had to shuffle around in the kitchen. The garden is huge, yet there are no toys or activities for children—just a lifeless empty space. Dogs must be on a leash, and the fee for the dog was nowhere visible. The host listed the rules when we arrived, but there was no hint of a warm welcome. The building’s windows were dirty and spider‑webbed, making it feel like the soul had left the place. It was a pity.
