The price‑to‑value is good, given the limited options and high demand. Everything was clean and functional.

The location is good. The accommodation is on the second floor, and if you go down you’re right at the bus stop. It’s in the center of Bled, so it’s convenient for lake or castle visits and restaurants. The nearest supermarket is about a 15‑minute walk. The host isn’t the friendliest, but he’s not bad and handled things well. I had a pleasant stay. The facilities aren’t great, but there were no hygiene issues and it was okay for a stay.

The owner is a bit too strict, but the location is good and everything else went smoothly.

The spot right next to the bus stop was convenient, but the staff felt rather unfriendly and the hostel was littered with passive‑aggressive posters warning about exaggerated fines for rule violations, which didn’t stop the bathrooms from being dirty.

At first i didnt understand why there were many bad reviews. They were super nice and responsive in their texts. And then i arrived. There was either an overbooking or a drunk guy that threw up on the bed. I heard several stories. I arrived late at night, which wasnt an ideal situation but i understood reception has no fault in any of that. At first he offered to put up a bed in the hallway, where people from many rooms walked past, which is just an unacceptable proposal to me. Paying 50 euros to sleep in a corridor. But again, i know they tried hard to find a solution. Eventually they arranged for me to go to a different hostel. This hostel was pretty bad which obviously adds to the bad experience. After check out i came back for 20 minutes to sit in the outside common area of the other hostel and was told that after check out i'm not allowed to be there or i could get fined 5000 euros 🤯 Absolutely INSANE and unwelcoming experience. After all if that i did feel like i was definitely owed the price difference between both hostels so i communicated this to the man from "bus station beds". He explained that they already did me a favour by not charging me the 3 euros tax. How were they going to tax me when i didnt even stay there? He didnt react bad and did pay me the money but i could clearly feel he thought it was a ridiculous request "after all of his help". I appreciated his help and thanked him several times the night before but i also believe it's standard procedure when i have a booking and payment with them to provide an alternative. Anyway I understand he had a horrible night with circumstances out of his control and i feel for him, but i was just a guest who did nothing wrong and was put in a bad situation. The whole experience of both hostels just left a bad taste in my mouth
