The place looked gorgeous and was well organized; every spot was easy to find, especially the bathroom which was spotless. José, though not staying there himself, was very attentive and always ready to help. Because it faces a square, the noise can be heard even at night, and on a Wednesday it was hard to sleep—sound reached up to 4 am.

A beautiful spot, cared for with affection. It sits in the best location, close to everything and right in the heart of Trancoso.

The place looks great – the architecture and décor are really impressive and everything is spotless. It’s just a five‑minute walk from the main square, right across from the central plaza. The downside is that the hostel sits on top of a bar that keeps the music blasting well past 4 am, so if you’re not in the bar you’ll hear a lot of noise.

I appreciated the privacy and the quiet vibe; the rooms were tidy, the location convenient and the owners were attentive and friendly. Honestly, I can’t think of any complaints – the only thing worth mentioning is that it was my first hostel experience, and it went smoothly probably because I wasn’t there during peak season.
