“So BAD, I had to book elsewhere”

We had agreed to check in at 11, but when we arrived there was no one to welcome us or show us to the room; after about 20 minutes we told the owner we’d return in 30 minutes, yet even after arriving 30 minutes later no one was there to check us in. I called the owner, who helped me over the phone to find my room. The main door was very narrow, no lights were on, power was off, and the place was very dark. When I finally entered, the bed had no fresh linens, the room was filthy, the bin still held garbage from a previous guest, the bath had water in it, the basin and toilet were dirty, and there was no toilet paper. I booked this unit because of the lovely pictures on the website, but the advertising was completely false, forcing me to leave and find another place to sleep. I had to call the owner every time I left and returned because there was no remote or code for the gate. This is by far the worst place I have ever stayed.

“It was great”

The place sits right in the middle of Fourways near everything, and as soon as you step through the gates you feel a very calm and relaxing vibe. The rooms were spotless, the linens were fresh, and Anthony was a very humble guy who was always ready to help, which made our stay even more special. I honestly can’t fault anything.

Nothing positive. When we arrived, there was NO ONE to open the gate for us! 😩 We only managed to get in because a car was leaving. We called the number we were given and were told to wait 10 minutes… meanwhile, the heat was HEATING! 🥵😂 Eventually the guy arrived! unapologetically, by the way! 😂 He was just like, “Let’s go to your room.” The moment we walked in… YHO! 😭 The place was dirty as hell! And when we got to the room, it looked NOTHING like what we had seen on the internet. 😩 It was honestly ugly, with these horror-looking pictures on the walls. 😂 The TV wasn’t working, the WiFi wasn’t working… just one problem after another. 🤦🏽‍♀️ After the guy left, I texted him explaining that the room we were given looked nothing like the pictures online. He opened the message… and completely ignored me! 😭😂 And then breakfast… 🤦🏽‍♀️ They gave us breakfast with NOTHING to drink no juice, no tea, no coffee. And honestly, we couldn’t even eat the food because the kitchen was extremely dirty when we arrived. The lady preparing the breakfast did clean it the next day, mara, the damage was already done! 😂 We literally just wrapped the food so it LOOKED like we had eaten. 😭😂😂 I honestly would NEVER recommend this place based on our experience. It looks beautiful from the outside and could actually be the perfect little escape if they paid attention to cleanliness, maintenance and the overall guest experience. Unfortunately, our experience was a complete NO from us. 🤦🏿‍♀️😂

“It was bad nothing was good.”

Nothing exciting about the property. In Room 3 there was no hot water, we had to wait about 40 minutes for a TV remote, there was no towel or toilet paper so we had to ask for these basics. We couldn’t access the pool because the staff were busy hosting a party celebration around it.
