Everything was clean, but the room I got was right in front of the air conditioner and it kept humming all day. The Wi‑Fi is a hassle because you have to guess the password from a list of many options.

The hotel sits nicely in downtown Palenque, and if you arrive by ADO bus you can walk straight to the building. From a nearby street—just ask the staff or locals—colectivos run to the archaeological site for a few pesos. The front‑desk team was very friendly and let us drop off our luggage before check‑in, even though we arrived at dawn after a long night on the ADO. The place feels a little run‑down; the room is spacious and clean, but the bathroom is not great. For the low price of 30/35 euros a night, it’s acceptable, but we found better hotels in other Mexican cities for the same cost.

The location was excellent and the reception staff were super friendly, the room we got was clean and in good condition, and they even offered to store our luggage when the room wasn’t ready yet. The only drawback was that the TV only offered four channels.
