The place looked nothing like the pictures and felt more like a school. They tried to charge me extra by saying I’d been undercharged, which was very disappointing.

It’s a nice spot to be in, but our trip was ruined by the chaotic, spaza‑shop‑like busyness. The venue claimed to fit 25 people, yet we ended up sharing with others, and the owner seemed only interested in profit, showing no respect for us as guests, which really pissed me off.

The location was quiet and we slept well, but the reception was unmanned and slow to respond, and there were no dustbins in the room, bathroom, or kitchen.

The place was spacious, the bathroom was nice, and there was a pleasant stoep for fresh air. However, the host hadn’t prepared the room for us upon arrival, which felt unprofessional. There was a stain on the ceiling and on the carpet below that spot, dripping sounds—probably from the geyser—echoing in the ceiling, and a loud jarring noise that woke us up a few times in the morning. The door to the steep didn’t lock properly, and the slower drain had a slight clog.
