“Not a hotel to bring your family”

I got a cheap stay, but the staff were rude, the room was okay but not very clean, and the location wasn’t great.

“Not frustrating and strange experience.”

The hotel is easily accessed off the main highway and has nearby businesses, but I don’t recommend it. The experience was odd and frustrating: checking in wasn’t even acknowledged until I told the man at the desk that I was checking in. The hotel was cluttered with odd items and old furniture, and there were signs that they were replacing furniture but only messy piles were visible. We couldn’t get into our room because the key wouldn’t work; after going down for another key it still didn’t work. The staff member walked us up, used his master key to let us in, and promised a new key that never arrived. We left for dinner and asked for a key again, but the one we got didn’t work. When we returned, he handed me a metal key taped to a piece of metal that opened my door; a different front‑desk person, shocked, told us that was a master key that opens all doors. The room smelled old, musty, and stale. The strangest part was a piece of fabric peeking out behind a bathroom picture frame; pulling it out revealed a rolled pair of men’s boxers. Needless to say, we won’t stay here again.

The place was quiet and had a decent location, but the breakfast selection could use more variety; the maid service was inconsistent between nights, and while the furniture is newer and the lighting is improving, it still needs work.

“Haunted house worthy.”

It seemed like the hotel was being emptied and sold; hallways were cluttered with furniture from rooms that were being vacated throughout the hotel. The room I stayed in had water damage, broken blinds, and drawings on the walls—everything was bad.

Location was great. TV Remote didn't work, had to ask for a new one twice, then TV didn't work, took 6 hours to get a "new" TV and had to set it up. Just lacking any help from staff. Nothing to do at hotel but watch TV and I couldn't do that!
