Very rural. No restaurants or shops nearby. The room was horrible (sorry). No hot water in the shower. Kettle but no cup. The pool was GREEN and full of bugs. Left early. Sorry it needs serious attention.

Good location and the family were welcoming. There was a little water issue but the hotel host was very responsive and quickly resolved the issue.

We were moved to a different room when we asked because the rooster was too loud. The pool was dirty and unusable, the rooster kept crowing all night, and the staff were absent.

The hotel’s location is great for reaching attractions, and there are a few decent warungs nearby. The cottage was charming and we had no pests like geckos or mosquitoes. The room had everything you need—bed, toilet/shower, hot water—and nothing extra. The staff were friendly and helpful. For the price it’s good, though a few minor flaws exist. When picking us up at the harbor, the owner had us haul our luggage 5‑10 minutes through the sand until we reached the car (to avoid the parking fee?). The sheets were not clean and we slept in a silk sleeping bag. Our room wasn’t cleaned daily. The pool was fine on day one, but by departure we didn’t want to swim again. Finally, the scooter was in very poor condition.

The location is great, the host is friendly, the rooms are clean, and the stay was comfortable.
