The owner was really kind, the facilities were great and I felt very comfortable throughout my stay.
The little room was quiet and had its own private sea view, which I loved; the space was huge enough for all seven of us, and the owner was extremely friendly. After checking out we could still use the shower and dining areas when we returned from swimming at the beach, and they even left some toys for the one‑year‑old.

I booked at the last minute and didn’t expect much, yet the room turned out far larger than I imagined and was spotless – truly impressive! ⭐️ The host was sweet and friendly, making my three days in Shizuoka wonderfully pleasant, and I’d love to stay at Kakure Sato again on my next trip. The only downside was that the large‑bathhouse sauna was closed, and the outdoor‑exposure area had no lighting, which felt a bit eerie and kept me from staying long.
