“Ruidoso, caluroso, sin orientación”
The location in Roma Norte and the common room were fine. I want to be objective, and this may upset some people and not others: first, the check‑in instructions were not easy to follow; the directions sent a short time before check‑in were unclear, better would be to say it’s a box with a code in front of your room with the key. Second, the door to room 202 gets stuck and isn’t easy to open or close. The room looks like the photos, but what isn’t shown is that the walls are frosted glass, it gets extremely hot inside and feels like an oven; there’s no fan or air conditioning. If you open the balcony that faces the street, the noise is intense, and at night you can’t sleep well; you need earplugs and if you’re sensitive to noise zero, it’s not recommended. I couldn’t sleep well, and there were also mosquitoes. The shower has a schedule and is very limited. The floor in the room and the hostel is wooden and creaks. Room 202 is close to the entrance and the main door makes a lot of noise, which is annoying and wakes you up when it opens or closes. At the end of the day, the check‑out time listed on booking is 12 pm, but the instructions they send cut it off an hour earlier, saying 11 am, which is terrible. And at 9 am a cleaning lady entered my room, opened the door, and I was like “what?” She apologized, but that’s how poorly coordinated they are and how they don’t know which room is occupied and which isn’t. Overall I wouldn’t go back, but the price is cheap, I checked why.
