“Alles sehr nett, fast familiär.”
Very friendly, small hotel very centrally located near Bhaktapur’s historic old town, just a minute’s walk away. The staff is extremely helpful, and the rooftop terrace is top.

The room was clean and very comfortable, and the location is good. When paying the 5220 rupee accommodation fee, I handed over 5520 rupees and received no change; I was overcharged by 300 rupees. I also requested laundry service, but the returned clothes were damp and still had a smell, which was disappointing.

I stayed twice, sandwiching a visit to Nagar Kott. Because I only had one night, they kindly offered free laundry, which was very helpful. You can unwind on the rooftop or terrace, and while breakfast is the only meal served there, it’s tasty; lunch you can head over next door for a great Durbar meal. No complaints, and small issues are quickly addressed if mentioned.

The staff were all bright, friendly, and refreshing, without the usual familiarity that can feel forced; the room was clean, close to Durbar Square, and very comfortable. Breakfast tasted great, and the neighboring Durbar Thali was also delicious. The fan outlet didn’t make good contact and sometimes stopped, but that’s been fixed now; also, when I pressed the washroom switch, the button collapsed—Japanese style you press the colored part, but in Nepal you press the lower part.
