“Interesting, but disappointing due to misleading dinner menu options.”
The place was very distinctive. We thoroughly enjoyed watching the reindeer, walking through the snow hotel, and petting the dogs. The cabin itself was fine. The only real complaint was the dinner. We had chosen the hotel partly because of the dinner options, and my wife cannot eat red meat. The restaurant’s website clearly listed three menus, two of which omitted a red‑meat entrée. When we arrived, we were only given a single menu featuring reindeer steak. We asked twice for an accommodation, but were denied and politely told the issue was ours because we hadn’t requested it. Since the website showed a choice of three, there was no need to ask. We ended up paying €100–€150 more than we would have otherwise, and the meal did not reflect that value.
