The owner’s hospitality, the beautiful house, the comfortable room, the vineyard surroundings, the pool, and the generous homemade breakfast were all excellent; nothing to complain about.

The people were friendly, the pool was nice, and there was a shared fridge for storing belongings; the setting was quiet and pretty. We knew in advance that the toilets were shared, and breakfast was served at a communal table where you’d sit with other guests, which wasn’t our preference, so we wouldn’t book those aspects again. Also, the bed in our first room was awful—hard and sagging—so we asked for a different room, which was possible, but that bed was still not great; replacing the mattresses would be a good idea.
