The house was fantastic, the room huge with comfy beds, the location beautiful and quiet, the pool great and the breakfast good, plus there’s a playground.

The pool is spacious, clean and quiet, with toilets and lockers; the room is large with a view of Etna, air‑conditioned; staff responded quickly to requests and minor room issues; breakfast offered fresh bread, croissants, orchard fruit, homemade jam; the restaurant served good dishes, well presented. The room was only moderately clean, with dust, dirty armchairs, and average bedding; the bathroom was fine but the shower still had soap and paper residue, and the door handle fell (though it was fixed after we asked); the kitchen was poorly equipped for self‑cooking, the dishes were not very clean, and there was a bad smell under the sink.
