The hotel feels very family‑friendly, with stylish décor, solid furniture and a wonderful sea view, plus it’s only a five‑minute walk to the corniche and the air‑conditioning works brilliantly and stays cold. Unfortunately, there was a foul smell coming from the bathroom drain in the master bedroom that needs fixing, and the TV is outdated – it could at least add some kids’ channels or a Saudi football league feed.

Cleanliness was the only thing that impressed me. The price, however, was far too high – one night here feels like paying for two to three nights in a better apartment – and the sea view was mediocre and distant, with a huge open space separating the hotel from the corniche. The breakfast buffet was tiny but passable, the room key card malfunctioned repeatedly (I had to swap it about seven times), channel 8 was missing for sports fans, and checkout is only allowed until 1 p.m., which the receptionist reminded me of when I asked about leaving on Friday (Friday prayer starts at 12:25 p.m.). I chose this place because of paid ads, which turned out to be misleading.

The place is quiet, clean, organized, and the service is excellent; this is the tenth time I’ve stayed here. Everything is great.
