There’s an outdoor fire pit, a heated pool, and blueberry bushes. I could hear people in the rooms on both sides talking, flushing the toilet, and opening their doors.

The location was good, close to Akadia National Park. The rooms are the smallest ever and unsuitable for normal‑sized people; the bed is uncomfortable, the shower is too small to use properly, and the Wi‑Fi is very weak. The price paid does not justify the value.

Belle Isle is easy to reach from Acadia National Park and the town of Bar Harbor, but the building feels old even after renovation and only offers the basics needed for a visit.

Not a far drive into bar harbor or Acadia. WiFi didn’t work. Room smell like someone took fabric spray and covered the place. It left a film on everything. Toilet flushed fully a quarter of the time
