We were greeted warmly and kept well taken care of by the host throughout our stay; the setting was quiet, close to the lake and hiking trails; we dined at the hotel, the menu was small but the food tasted very good; the rooms feel a bit dated.

The hotel is very well situated and very quiet. The only issue was that the air‑conditioning was missing, even though it was listed in the room description. A less friendly hotel resident blocked the exit while loading luggage, even though a free spot was available, forcing us to back out of the parking entrance.
