“Beware of critters that crawl”

The bed and hot shower were great, and we slept comfortably. The AC worked well, and the pool was clean and refreshing. Unfortunately, roaches were the first thing we saw when we walked into the room. There was no coffee pot in the room. I told the front‑desk clerk, checked another room, and roaches appeared again when I opened the door and turned on the light. The bathroom was in worse shape than the room we were already in. There were no working electrical outlets for my CPAP machine, so I was without it for two nights. I was very unhappy with this stay.

“Very scary!”

I didn’t like anything about the property. I was terrified the whole night and didn’t stay the second night because of that fear. There were so many people hanging around and yelling at each other, and you could hear people having sex loudly in several rooms. Around 3 am it started to rain, so everyone went into their rooms and smoked cigarettes and weed. All my clothes smelled of weed for my meeting the next day, which was mortifying. This was not what was advertised.

I was pleased that the hotel was close to the shops, but when I checked in and walked into my room I noticed the kitchen was filthy, the sheets had a black stain, and an old baby bottle was left behind.

Everything was spotless and pleasant, but the location and the available amenities left something to be desired.
