The rooms were clean and quiet. The staff were always nice and friendly. There were enough parking spaces on site. The location is a very short walk to the heart of Hitzacker. The mattresses should be checked—they’re already worn out.

Tucked at the forest’s edge, the hotel sits in a peaceful spot surrounded by nature, and the staff family treated us with genuine warmth, always looking after our comfort; they even provide charging points for electric cars. The only drawback is that the property sits on a rise above Hitzacker, making a walk to the old town rather difficult, especially on foot.
