The gardens were lovely and the restaurant was good, but the rooms need some attention: the bathrooms are old and the AC is noisy.
The hotel is beautiful and conveniently close to the airport, but it deserves more than just an overnight stay. The staff were incredibly attentive, the food was excellent, and the house and gardens are immaculate. It was a wonderful place to unwind after traveling, and I’ll definitely stay here again next time I’m in Colombo.

It’s in a great location for arrival and departure, and it’s a lovely hotel in any case. The rooms, staff and pool are great. Nothing negative. There isn’t much around the hotel, but that’s not why you’re there.

The property felt like a hidden oasis. We used it as a stopover on the way back to Australia. It’s close to the Airport ($35 transfer which was reasonable) and the rooms, food, pool and grounds are amazing.
