Everyone in Cebu, including the staff, is friendly, but I rarely leave negative reviews, yet I feel it’s important to warn future guests. Like other English reviews, we found the listing for this hotel to be quite misleading. It’s far from a 5‑star property; it feels as though the facilities haven’t been updated in a decade. Worst of all, there was visible mould in both the bathroom and the air‑conditioning unit. Because of the poor conditions, we ultimately decided to cut our stay short and leave early.

There is no elevator or lift for rooms on the 2nd‑floor level.

The pool was definitely a highlight, but the selection of drinks and snacks was pretty thin, there was no convenience store nearby, dry‑cleaning wasn’t available and they required a cash deposit.

There wasn’t much to say. The bed was large, but the bedding and mattress were clearly old. Coffee‑making facilities were available, yet no coffee or tea was provided. The breakfast was revolting; neither of us could finish it. It had all been pre‑cooked and kept in a warmer, and the egg was almost solid. The bathroom was full of mould, and the shower was unusable—the rain head didn’t work and the other head sprayed across the bathroom. The toilet leaked onto the floor, the faucet had no chrome left on it, and the air‑con was dirty. The restaurant played loud music at 6 am, and our “deluxe” room was directly underneath. When we visited the restaurant the evening before, many menu items were listed as “unavailable.” For a “5‑star” hotel, this was the worst we’ve seen; it barely deserves a “2.” We had to pay a 5000‑peso cash deposit for damage, with signs reminding us how much each breakage would cost.
