The location worked for the event we were attending, but the place was filthy with many defects and leftover rubbish. The owners didn’t respond well to complaints and denied a refund even though the case was clear. Paying £899 for two nights felt extremely overpriced for what we received.

Breakfast wasn’t offered, but the location was convenient, just 5 minutes from our son’s house, and there were four well‑spaced bedrooms. The biggest issue was the refuse system: no recycling, only one huge overflowing bin that looked unsightly and posed a health risk. The crockery and cutlery were also insufficient for a family of seven dining together.
