The quality of the rooms and the price were both good.

We couldn't stay at the hotel because when the taxi brought us to the door, they threw stones at us. The entrance is unsafe and they ignore messages. I wrote to the accommodation to explain what happened (they had already charged us), and they never responded. I also contacted Booking, and received no reply.

I've stayed at Hotel Tara Palace for 14 years whenever I'm in Delhi. It offers great value for budget travelers, and the 24‑hour room service is a nice touch. The staff were all helpful, pleasant, and accommodating. Even though renovations were underway, the noise was not an issue. Thanks as always to the Hotel Tara Palace staff. However, with the newly pedestrianised section of Chandi Chowk from 9 to 9, Uber and taxi drivers struggled to reach the hotel or didn't pick us up. If I had known about this, I would have asked the staff to coordinate with drivers or walked to a different pick‑up spot.
