“A lovely hotel which I will likely use again.”

The staff were friendly and helpful, the food was very good, and the room was spacious with a comfy bed; it’s also convenient for golf, as the Winterfield course is right there and Dunbar GC is only a 10‑minute taxi ride. The bar area was cozy-looking but too cold, so we didn’t linger there.

“Simple, good value & sufficient, just a little dated.”

The location was great, the views lovely, plenty of parking, and the place was comfortable – no complaints, would gladly return. The hotel was fine but a bit dated: the bathroom had avocado‑colored porcelain, brass fittings, and lino flooring – all clean and tidy, but it would feel better if modernised. The room temperature was a touch high, but I could turn the AC down or crack the window. I couldn’t comment on the food because none was available for my trip.

This small, friendly hotel sits in a lovely coastal spot, just a short walk from the harbour and High Street, and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. Each room had its own distinct style of furnishings, and the food was of high standard; the conservatory dining room offered lovely views over the Firth when it was light. The bedroom was a bit hot for our liking, and the radiator still had heat even when turned fully off.

“Nice, relaxing stay with a view”

The view was amazing, the staff friendly, and the location ideal for walking into town; the bathroom was nice. However, breakfast took a long time to arrive and wasn’t great, unfortunately.
