Senaru Lodge

The view is breathtaking, and the pool is pleasant even though it’s fed by waterfall water. The chef is amazing and can cook superbly. The resort is still under construction except for the lower rooms, but the work is not particularly disruptive. The room furnishings are very basic.

The staff and owner were very friendly, but unfortunately we found the place not very clean and it smelled quite musty.

“Great location, big rooms and the best host”

Stunning views of the rice paddies. The room is spacious and fully equipped. Host Mr. John has a fantastic personality—he’s incredibly funny, friendly, and assisted me with recommendations and arranging drivers and guides throughout my stay. He works hard running the place, cooking food, and helping guests while rebuilding the lodge after the 2019 earthquake. Big respect for what he’s doing. The only downside: the bathroom could use a shower curtain to stop water from splashing everywhere.

A great hotel on an amazing spot! The view from the room and the two pools are perfect for cooling off after a hike and just relaxing. The owner is happy to help arrange activities.

“Het was OK.”

De intensie van de eigenaar is goed. Hij regelt alles voor je met een grote glimlach. Ontbijt is prima. De ligging ook! Vriendelijke mensen met een visie. Het gaat echt heel mooi worden!. Het is gewoon niet af, er wordt nog verbouwd om de schade na de aardbeving te verhelpen. Er wordt hierover veel geklaagd dat is jammer. Daarnaast iets meer aandacht voor de schoonmaak van de kamer zou fijn zijn
