We’re a motorcycle crew and this is our third stay here; the staff are always friendly, the rooms are clean, and the location is great. The room is roomy with a nice bathroom, the pool is a lifesaver on hot summer days, and the aperitif service from the restaurant is consistently good. The attached restaurant remains a highlight, with a courteous chef and staff, and the dishes, wines, and oils are all excellent and locally produced. Breakfast is also superb, run by the restaurant with a wide selection of fresh, local, made‑to‑order items. Because the building is made of old houses, it tends to hold heat on warm days, which you feel at night; the room I slept in had an internal‑compressor AC unit that was very noisy.
