An unforgettable experience with a legendary host! Instead of a standard cottage we ended up in a classic, atmospheric B&B. We had a wonderful evening in the cozy chalet in the woods, complete with a warm fireplace. After a good night’s sleep we were treated to a lovely breakfast. The absolute highlight was host Carl, a legendary, welcoming, colorful Flemish man with the best stories about his hikes (from the Pacific Crest Trail to the Kungsleden), AI, and life in Wallonia. We really enjoyed his passion and entertainment. An unforgettable experience, highly recommended! What could be better? Improvement is impossible when it’s already legendary. We advise everyone to book blindly and just let themselves be surprised.

The welcome was incredibly warm and the place is super quiet. The room had basically everything we needed and we could use the fridge in the shared lounge. Beautiful sunshine meant we spent most of the time outside, and La Roche with its activities is just a short drive away – I’d definitely recommend it.
