“Prima verblijf!”
We were warmly welcomed and the room met expectations. The beds were comfortable and breakfast was very tasty. The bed had loose mattresses and duvets, which was disappointing for us.

The location gives a true Groningen vibe—quiet, comfortable bed, and nice windows with shutters. Good to know that the upper windows lack curtains (you might want to avoid sleeping there in summer).

The room itself. Nothing else.

It was beautifully renovated and breakfast was even delivered to the room.

We chose this B&B to stay on a heritage site in the countryside, and Oldenbosch felt like a log guesthouse with an impressive sleeping area. The farmhouse showcases authentic touches that create a historic vibe. The attic was very spacious for the two of us, and breakfast was fine and adequate. The large attic, set up for us two, was rather basic, featuring a single large double bed, a dining table with chairs where breakfast was served, and a small bathroom built into part of the space with a shower cubicle and a tiny basin. There was no table to set things on or hooks to hang items, and the room with the bed and table as well as the bathroom seemed unfinished because of the limited furnishings. We couldn’t store anything—no chair, table, or cupboard—so everything had to lie on the floor. The lighting could also be improved; daylight was still quite dim in that big attic.
