The place offers Private Dining, and having a personal chef who sometimes satisfies custom requests was sensational. We had a very open, incredibly interesting conversation with the host, learning a lot in the process; it was definitely worth the money. A wonderful view from the large terrace over Amsterdam’s rooftops, friendly, clean, quiet rooms, and good transport links to the airport and city centre made for a perfect stay. I wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation for relaxed gourmands, and as a tip—use Private Dining; it pays off. The downside is that overnight taxes in Amsterdam are generally extremely high, which inflates the cost without benefiting the host.

Il punto di forza è senz’altro il terrazzo meraviglioso e ben sfruttabile. Soprattutto se c’è un clima piacevole. La casa è affascinante e ben arredata e il gestore è molto cordiale e amichevole. Il bagno è piuttosto modesto, le scale per raggiungere il 4 piano un’impresa (anche se credo sia tipico di Amsterdam)
The terrace is definitely a highlight. The steep stairs and numerous steps to reach the rooms on the top floor are a drawback. The bathroom is outside the room in the space where the owner also stays, so privacy is lacking. None of this was disclosed at the time of booking.

Blaine is a helpful and friendly host who provides a fine breakfast. I enjoyed my stay in this lovely apartment, which also has an outside terrace that guests can use. My room was very comfortable and the shared facilities were excellent. The location felt safe and is very easy to reach from the city centre by tram.

Blaine is an amazing host, and the roof deck overlooking Amsterdam is an incredible spot to drink coffee in the morning or enjoy a glass of wine in the evening. Nothing else to add.
