Best accomodation I have ever been. The cottages were exceptional: spotless, comfiest and super stylish. The scenery was just breathtaking and the owners went way beyond to make our stay unforgettable. We’ll be back, 100%!!. Nothing. It was perfect

We loved the stay: the natural surroundings were beautiful, peaceful, exactly what we wanted, the house matched its description and had everything we needed, the bath was a lovely touch that made it extra special, our kids had an amazing time, we felt relaxed from arrival and would happily return—thanks for a wonderful stay, we’ll definitely come back.

We needed a quiet, off‑grid break and this place delivered exactly that. The cottage’s interior design was the most stunning I’ve ever seen, and the surroundings were breathtaking; everything we could possibly need was already there. The owners live on the property, respected our privacy, and answered any questions promptly. We’ll definitely return.

Rosegum Cottage was outstanding. We wandered around the three dams, admiring the lush plants and abundant bird life. My daughter even spotted a couple of Alberts Lyrebirds right outside her bedroom window early on our last morning. The rainforest buzzed with black cockatoos, sulfur‑crested white cockatoos, and many other species. The fireplace kept the cottage warm and cozy in the evenings, and hot water was plentiful—my daughter and granddaughter enjoyed the Claws Foot bathtub. The front verandah bathed in sunlight each morning made it hard to leave the comfortable chairs. The highlight was the Blue Moon on 31 May: we lit a bonfire already stacked with kindling and logs, sat around for hours watching the embers glow and the full moon rise over the rainforest. A truly magical experience that will stay with our family forever. On the downside, even with clear directions from the Property Managers, we got lost on the way up. Phone reception is spotty through the valleys and mountains, and the satnav led us on a very long detour one night after dropping a family member at Bangalow.
