The place was calm and the tavern was nice. But the shower had no curtain, so water splashed everywhere, and they only had bath mats, not face washers.

Quiet, roomy, spotless room and friendly staff made for a smooth stay. The pub‑style food was tasty, though not the healthiest. It’s fine for a single night, but beyond a lake walk there’s not much activity—no gym or other amenities.

Lovely people who are just starting out with this venture in a challenging location. Very friendly. Clean sheets and towels. Rooms are big. Evening birdlife is great. Has an old motel in the boondocks vibe. Tavern is a bonus. The bathroom was very tired, there's a dodgy fridge, tv that doesn't go.It's been given a cosmetic makeover but the grounds and the interior of the room need more attention.
